Artificial Intelligence (AI) is that branch of computer science which is mainly concerned with forming
of smart machines which can perform task which required only the use of human mind or human
intelligence. The law and Artificial Intelligence mainly operates in accordance with the similar
principles. They both mainly look at examples of history, and accordingly apply the same principles to
the new situations arising in the world. The Artificial Intelligence can never substitute the elusive
judicial compassion but on the other side if it is to be compared with the advantages of it then it can be
seen that the impact is very positive and effective. The use of artificial intelligence can be best seen in
the due diligence that is in corporate, also in the litigation that is the precedents, document repetition
checks, date wise setting up of the documents. The Artificial Intelligence can also be useful for the
clients on the form of Nature of judge and expertise of lawyers. The type of software which can be
helpful is the predictive software and the legal analytical software, Automation of documentation
software, Intellectual Property Software, Electronic billing software. The accuracy level of Artificial
Intelligence can be compared with lawyers and the accuracy will be more of artificial Intelligence as
compare with the human intelligence. Also, the time taken and cost is reduced in Artificial Intelligence.
The future of law firms in innovation in servicing of clients will definitely increase. The focus will shift
from Revenue to Higher profits. The Artificial Intelligence is to be used as the tool and not as a
disadvantage. |
