The rapidly increasing growth of digital platforms and the flourishing creator economy within India's diverse cultural setting have undeniably heightened the significance of regional language content. This has placed educational institutions at the forefront of this movement, where they not only advocate for these languages but also function as custodians, breaking away from conventional classroom norms to actively engage in the production of digital content in vernacular languages. In delving deeper into this topic, it becomes evident that educational institutions play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of regional language content by nurturing linguistic diversity, amplifying the creation of local media in native dialects, and equipping students with the necessary tools to generate content in their mother tongues. By thoroughly examining real-world case studies, innovative initiatives, and successful strategies implemented by a variety of educational organizations throughout India, this study underscores the vital role that education performs in safeguarding linguistic heritage and empowering students to participate in the ever-evolving digital landscape of regional languages. |
