These challenges mainly include inadequate infrastructure, funding constraints, policy ambiguities, regulatory complexities and lack of Skills. India, as one of the world's fastest-growing economies, faces both challenges and opportunities in fostering green employment. These challenges can act as barriers in the growth and adoption of green economy in India.The surge in urbanization and population growth has amplified global challenges, prompting a search for innovative solutions that prioritize environmental responsibility and sustainability.This research paper explores the landscape of green careers in India, shedding light on the key obstacles hindering their growth and the opportunities they offer for sustainable development.
